Throughout the year we support dozens of charities helping the homeless by offering our unsold sandwiches to them at the end of each day. The Pret Charity Run operates a fleet of electric vans that deliver over 12,000 fresh meals to numerous shelters for the homeless in London every week. Many charities across the UK collect directly from our shops at the end of each day too. In total, Pret donates over 1.7 million products to charities for the homeless across the UK every year ensuring our fresh, natural food goes to the homeless at the end of the day and not in the bin.

We prefer to work on long-term arrangements with charity organisations to ensure that as much food gets to the homeless as possible. Tragically a few of our shops have no regular charities able to collect from them.

We can sometimes offer our food to one-off events, but it may take a day or two to set up.

The Pret Charity Run is funded by the Pret Foundation Trust. The Trust continues to support charities all over the UK by donating food and money (every year we give away around a quarter of a million pounds worth of food and cash).
