Pret has for some time been increasingly concerned about the sustainability of the world's tuna stocks and we have been adjusting our menu to reflect this concern. We have now discontinued selling yellow fin tuna altogether; it has been removed from our sushi boxes. We have never sold bluefin tuna.

We have no plans to stop selling tuna sandwiches and baguettes. Pret only sells skipjack tuna. Skipjack is a small, fast breeding, non migratory fish and is not under threat from over fishing. Pret's skipjack tuna will all be caught by the pole and line method as of August this year.
